Exoclick is an online advertising company, which provides online advertising services to both advertisers and publishers all over the world via the web, mobile, tablet and smart TV. ExoClick's customers include advertisers, advertising agencies, traffic distribution partners and publishers. Exoclick provides two channels for advertisers and publishers: An Ad Exchange and an Ad Network.
Let’s have a look at how to track Exoclick’s conversions with RedTrack. Please keep in mind, that you need to have active accounts in both systems.
Step 1. Setting Up Conversion Tracking in Exoclick
The first step is to create a Tracking ID code in Exoclick.
1. Navigate the Admin panel in your Exoclick account. Follow the path Advertisers - Campaigns - Conversion Tracking
2. Type in the name of the goal (e.g. RedTrack) and save the changes.
Step 2. Adding Exoclick as a Source in RedTrack
The next step is to add Exoclick as a Traffic Source in RedTrack.
Go to the Sources Tab of your RedTrack account and click New. Since Exoclick is already included to the RedTrack Sources database, just choose it from the suggested Presets. The data will be filled in automatically. In the postback URL replace the goal with the Goal ID from the previous step.
Step 3. Setting Up Campaign in RedTrack
Now you can proceed to launch a Campaign in RedTrack. Once you have entered all the Campaign’s details, copy the Campaign URL from the corresponding field.
Step 4. Modifying tracking URL
Insert the obtained URL to the source.
This link should be entered into your ExoClick campaign under the tab Advertisers > New Campaign > Marketing Material > Add Variations:
Step 5. Setting up RedTrack to postback conversion to Exoclick
Finally, to pass conversions to Exoclick, you need to set up Postback within RedTrack.
Navigate the Postback settings tab in the Campaign settings. Navigate the Postback settings tab in the Campaign Edit mode and press Add. The field will be automatically populated with the correct postback URL:
Make sure it contains the correct ExoClick goal you have added in Step 2.
