Today, we will find out how to track your MaxBounty offers using RedTrack. You don’t need to be a techie in order to do that - the entire process contains of 5 easy steps:

 

  1. Adding MaxBounty as a Network in RedTrack
  2. Setting up conversion tracking
  3. Setting up Postback URL
  4. Obtaining offer URL in MaxBounty
  5. Creating an offer in RedTrack




Step 1. Adding MaxBounty as a Network in RedTrack

 

The first step is to add MaxBounty as an Affiliate Network in RedTrack. Go to the Networks Tab in your RedTrack account and click New. Since MaxBounty is already included to the RedTrack Networks database, just choose it from the suggested pre-sets and click Add. The data will be filled in automatically. Copy the Postback URL template and click Save.

Step 2. Setting up Conversion Tracking in MaxBounty


Open your MaxBounty account and choose an offer you wish to track. Click on it and proceed to the Sub-ID & Callbacks section. To set up an integration, you need to add  the Sub-iD parameter to your tracking code. For RedTrack users, said parameter is {clickid}. Choose the correct option and enter the parameter.

Step 3. Setting up Postback URL

 

In order to enable tracking, you need to set up a Postback link. In MaxBounty, s2 parameter is typically used for this purpose. Select URL as Callback Type and paste the pre-set Postback URL template you copied in step 1 into the corresponding field. Click Save Pixel.

Step 4. Obtaining offer URL

 

Now that you have set up your tracking data, you can generate an unique link for your offer. Scroll down to Creatives, choose your traffic type (eg. Contextual), and click get tracking code.

Make sure to change default offer URL back to curly brackets “{}” used by RedTrack, like this {clickid}.

Here’s an example of the correct tracking link:

Step 5. Creating an offer in RedTrack


Copy your tracking link and return to your RedTrack account. Go to Offers tab and click New. Fill in the relevant details, such as Payout and your desired Offer Name, choose MaxBounty as Affiliate Network. Postback URL will be filled in automatically. Paste your unique tracking link into the URL field, specify country and click Save.

 

Please note that GEO is for reference only and not used for traffic filtering or distribution. All Traffic filtering and distribution settings are done in the Campaign tab.

Now you’re all set! Optimizing your MaxBounty campaigns will be easier than ever with RedTrack. Once again, all it takes is 5 steps:

 

  1. Add MaxBounty to your list of Affiliate Networks
  2. Set up conversion tracking
  3. Set up your Postback URL
  4. Obtain a tracking link for offer conversion tracking
  5. Add your offers to RedTrack

 

Don’t forget to make sure your tracking link matches RedTrack style and you’re good to go!
