Cloaking

If you wish to cloak your tracking links, here's a couple ways you can do it:

  • Use cloaking feature within RedTrack
  • Add cloaking script to your Landing Page

In this article, we will cover both options in detail.

Note! Cloaking can be applied at the Campaign level only. For the whole account only blacklist option will work.

Option 1.

Cloaking feature is available within the Tools tab. You have the ability to create custom filters that can be applied to your Campaigns.

If you wish to list multiple IP ranges, make sure to separate them by comma.

Upon creating a Campaign, navigate the Filters settings and enable Cloaking. You will be able to choose one of your pre-set Cloaking rules from the drop-down list. You can choose to either include or exclude these ranges from the stream.

You may create several streams within one Campaign and apply separate filters and Cloaking rules to each one of them.

Option 2.

Add the following script to your Landing Page:

<?php if($_GET['sub1']=='XXXXX') { ?>

your landing html code

<?php } else { ?>

your public landing html code

<?php } ?>

'sub1' in the script represents Landing Page subIDs and can be anything between sub1 through sub8.

'XXXXX' is a custom entry which represents the subID values that should trigger cloaking.

The list of available subIDs can be found in Landers settings. Make sure that the data in your script matches your Landing Page settings in RedTrack.

Please keep in mind that we do not endorse cloaking and we cannot be held responsible for any consequences resulting from the use of cloaking.
