If you want to make the most out of your Revcontent Campaigns, we will show you exactly how to set up your performance tracking with RedTrack.
Step 1. Adding Revcontent as a Traffic Source in RedTrack
To add Revcontent in RedTrack open the Sources tab and click New. Choose Revcontent from the catalog and press Add. Available tracking macros will be automatically added to the Source.
Step 2. Starting a Campaign in RedTrack
Now that we have our Traffic Source in place, it is time to set up a new Campaign. In RedTrack, go to the Campaigns tab and click New. Submit all the relevant details, such as your desired Campaign Name, Landing Page and the offer(s) associated with this campaign. Choose Revcontent as Traffic Source and click Save.
Your Campaign URL will be generated automatically. RedTrack parameter for conversion tracking is named ref_id. You may remove the macros you don't wish to use for this Campaign. Copy the link to clipboard.
Step 3. Launching a Campaign in Revcontent
In your Revcontent account, go to the Campaign Boosts section and click in the "Create Campaign Boost" button. Fill out the basic information regarding your desired traffic. At the bottom of the page you will see the Tracking section and a built-in Tracking code generator.
We recommend to skip this part and use RedTrack for generating your Campaign Tracking code, as all macros will be populated automatically and you won't need to insert them manually.
Save your Campaign and open it from the Dashboard. Proceed to the Manage content section. Paste the Campaign URL you have copied in Step 2 into the Destination URL section. Click Submit to Upload your images and content information. After a quick approval your Campaign is ready to go live!
