StartApp Integration


StartApp self-serve platform is a quick, easy, and budget-friendly way to instantly build and launch your mobile campaigns. You control aspects, like the audience, creatives, and budget.

In this article, we will show you how to integrate Startup with RedTrack to make custom reports and get the most out of your campaigns.


Step 1. Adding StartApp as a Traffic Source in RedTrack 


To add StartApp in RedTrack open the Sources tab and click New. Choose StartApp from the catalog and press Add. StartApp postback URL and available tracking macros will be automatically added to the Source.




Step 2. Starting a Campaign in RedTrack


Now that we have our Traffic Source in place, it is time to set up a new Campaign. In RedTrack, go to the Campaigns tab and click New. Submit all the relevant details, such as your desired Campaign Name, Landing Page and the offer(s) associated with this campaign. Choose StartApp as Traffic Source and click Save.

Your Campaign URL will be generated automatically. RedTrack parameter for conversion tracking is named ref_id. You may remove the macros you don't wish to use for this Campaign. Copy the link to clipboard.




Step 3. Launching a Campaign in StartApp


In your StartApp advertiser dashboard, go to the Campaigns section and click in the "Create Campaign" button.

Keep in mind that you have to insert the final Offer link during Step 1, not the Campaign URL generated by RedTrack.




Fill out the required fields in Steps 1-4. Navigate Step 5 where you're supposed to upload your creatives. Choose your desired creative type and submit a name. Paste RedTrack Campaign URL you've copied in Step 2 into the URL field. 




If everything is set up correctly, your account manager will approve your Campaign after a quick review.


Step 4. Enabling S2S conversion tracking for StartApp


Return to your RedTrack account. Navigate the Postback section of the Campaign creation menu and click Add. The Postback URL will be populated automatically using pre-set template.  





Now you’re all set! Optimizing your StartApp Campaigns will be easier than ever with RedTrack. All it takes is 4 quick steps:

  1. Add Startapp to your list of Traffic Sources
  2. Set up a Campaign in RedTrack
  3. Launch a Campaign in Startapp
  4. Enable Conversion tracking by adding Startapp Postback to RedTrack
